AMA Announces Candice Weeks as Vice President of Operations

Hampton, VA: Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA), a leading engineering services provider for NASA, is pleased to announce that Ms. Candice Weeks has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Operations, effective June 14, 2021.

For more than 20 years, Candice Weeks has helped large and small businesses address operational needs and achieve process excellence in the areas of Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement, Business Development, and Project Management. In particular, Candice has led several process improvement opportunities at AMA over the past few years. Candice holds an A.A. in Business Administration as well as a Certification in Contracts from the University of Alabama Huntsville.

In the capacity of VP of Operations, Candice will collaborate with AMA operation leads and program offices across the country to align corporate strategy with program objectives, clarify and improve corporate shared services, and refine the scope and efficiency of overall corporate operations. 

As Director of Contracts for the past four years, Candice has demonstrated an effective management approach, a strong work ethic, fairness, and integrity.  John Abrams, CEO said, “The multi-faceted nature of operations adds challenges to increase efficacy.  With Candice spearheading this charge we will undoubtedly see positive change.”
