AMA's Quality Management System​

AMA's Quality Management System is based on the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001-2015 which is the internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It is the most widely used QMS standard in the world. Certified sites are the Hampton, VA and Edwards, CA locations which have been certified by NSF-ISR covering the areas of Engineering, Technical and Analytical services.

AS9100D Certified

AS9100D is an aerospace standard based on the ISO 9001-2015 quality system requirements. AS9100D takes the ISO 9001-2015 requirements and supplements them with additional quality system requirements established by the aerospace industry to satisfy DoD, NASA, and FAA quality requirements. Certified sites are the Hampton, VA and Edwards, CA locations which have been certified by NSF-ISR covering the areas of Engineering, Technical and Analytical services.

ISO 45001 Certified

ISO 45001 is the Occupational Health & Safety standard based on the ISO 9001 quality system requirements. AMA’s Hampton, VA location is certified by NSF-ISR covering the areas of Engineering, Technical, Analytical, and Administrative services.

 

CMMI 3 for Development and Services

Capability Maturity Model Integration provides appraisal and training for process improvement in organizations. The CMMI-DEV model supports organizations that develop products and covers project management, process management, systems engineering, hardware engineering, software engineering and other supporting processes. The CMMI-SVC model is used in organizations that provide services within their organization and to external customers. the Service System Development (SSD) model validates service systems and their components to satisfy existing or anticipated service agreements.

DCMA, Certified Purchasing System

The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) evaluates efficiencies and effectiveness in how contractors spend Government funds and complies with Government policy when subcontracting.  AMA successfully passed the DCMA CPSR on first-time review in 2014 and successfully passed again in 2017.
