ASDRS Successful Wind Tunnel Test

AMA is proud to share the public release of the successful testing and demonstration of its Actively Stabilized Drogue Refueling System (ASDRS) that took place at the AEDC National Full-Scale Aerodynamics Complex at NASA Ames Research Center in August, 2019.

Development began in 2008, and AMA has been working with the Navy (Navy SBIR program), Cobham Mission Systems, Synetics Systems Engineering, Arrowtech Associates, and CTSi developing technologies to stabilize the aerial refueling process.

This successful test shows the potential the ASDRS technology has for improving operations efficiency and safety – impacting both piloted and future unmanned missions.
