AMA regularly supports customers with risk assessments in support of engineering design and analysis. Risk assessments include mitigation plans and take into account likelihood and consequence with considerations for cost, schedule, and technical impacts. Additionally, AMA performs failure modes and effects analysis to identify and evaluate potential failures in designs and processes with the goal of providing mitigations to prevent future issues. AMA performs analysis to consider how risks and failures are mitigated as new technologies progress through the technology readiness levels.
