AMA's Advanced Capabilities Mission Team has been contributing to the SNP mission design space via various mission and studies. The team has pulled together a combination of generalized spacecraft trajectory design and optimization software, such as NASA's Copernicus, and in-house python tools to provide analyses of a variety of SNP mission options. This has included NTP and NEP missions in cis-lunar space, crewed Mars missions, and science missions to outer planets. The mission team has developed methodologies to sweep large, parameterized trade spaces and determine spacecraft sizing needed to complete each mission.
