ANALYTICAL MECHANICS ASSOCIATES, INC., (Hampton, Va.): AMA is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Laura Blumberg as RSES Program Manager and Vice President, NASA Langley Operations.

While Laura is a new member of the leadership team at AMA, she is well-known at Langley, and has spent most of her career in Hampton, VA. Laura has worked for over three decades supporting NASA, NOAA, and commercial customers managing large contracts of $100’s of millions in value and spanning science, research and IT services programs. Laura’s experience in executive leadership exemplifies meaningful collaboration, strategic transformation, team building, process improvement, and successful program planning and execution.

Her leadership extends to multiple professional and advocacy organizations, including serving as Chairperson of the NASA IT Procurement Office Contractor Steering Council, Vice President of the Virginia Aerospace Business Association (VASBA), member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), and Women in Aerospace (WIA).

Laura has a B.S. from Grove City College and a M.S. from George Washington University, both in Engineering Management. She has a Program Management Professional (PMP), a Global Leadership, among other certifications.
