AMA Announces Chief Transformation Officer and Vice President, Advanced Projects

AMA is naming Mr. John Abrams as its Chief Transformation Officer, and Ms. Lindsey Holmes as Vice President, Advanced Projects, effective January 4, 2021.

 

The new Chief Transformation Officer position creates a dedicated focus on transformation and strategic planning in the company, as well as allowing AMA to assist with transformational developments occurring among customers.  Further, it allows AMA to assess and implement transformation initiatives for our work, workplace, and workforce as we move confidently toward the future.

Mr. Abrams joined AMA in 2011, during a period of substantial company growth, when he started the Denver Office. With a background in mechanical and aerospace engineering, operations, business development, and project management, Mr. Abrams became the Vice President, Advanced Projects in 2016.

 

Under his leadership and with the support from many AMA sites, the Advanced Projects group performs concept studies for multiple NASA centers, engineering services for commercial organizations, and internal research and technology development. He is highly regarded by customers and colleagues alike and is uniquely suited to spearhead this new effort.

A Systems Engineering Manager at AMA’s Denver office since 2016, Ms. Holmes has overseen many company-wide initiatives and business development efforts, with an aim to diversify AMA’s business portfolio.  Among her coworkers and with her customers, she has a reputation for excellence, vision, and grace under pressure.

 

Ms. Holmes’ background includes aerospace and systems engineering, mission operations, project management, business development and operations in the private sector, as a small business owner, and in the military on both active duty and with the Air Force Reserves.  Her breadth of experience in business, the military, and with government

agencies will continue to move the Advanced Projects group and AMA forward in the years to come.
