AMA Announces Brendan Huismann as Director of IT and Cybersecurity
Hampton, VA: Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA), a leading engineering services provider for NASA, is pleased to announce that Brendan Huismann has been promoted to the position of Director of IT and Cybersecurity, effective November 1, 2021.

A native of Huntsville, AL, Brendan holds a B.A. in Computer Science and for more than seven years has helped businesses address their IT needs. As Manager of IT for the past two and a half years at AMA, Brendan and his team have improved departmental processes, supported phase-in and execution of multiple new software tools for fellow employees, and successfully led the team to ensure AMA earned Authority to Operate (ATO) status at two NASA centers. Under his management, the IT department has continued to provide outstanding service to all of AMA by improving end-user support while effectively adapting to new growth and cybersecurity challenges. Brendan is known for his drive, ability to multi-task, and willingness to take on any new technical challenge that comes his way. Brendan will continue to collaborate with Dennis Bulgatz, AMA’s Director of Enterprise Services on architecture and design to build and increase the capability of AMA’s software systems.
