ExPO is highly flexible in that there is no preconceived notion of what a product should be. Whether you are performing a mass mailing, reacting to customer calls, or setting a price, each option can be considered a product and modeled for optimization in ExPO.

Example

ATMs-R-Us wants to stimulate business by offering each of its 10 million ATM card holders one of 15 possible perks (or products).

They want to maximize the NPV of this action subject to the conditions that each account receiving a perk must produce a positive PV and the overall net income after taxes (NIAT) must remain positive over the next three years.

The business analysts at ATMs-R-Us model the response to the new perks and feed the metrics to ExPO.

ExPO finds the best possible choice of perk for each customer while satisfying all constraining conditions.
