We would like to add Mechanical Design Engineers to support our growing mechanical design team.

Job Description

The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the design of mechanical hardware; including research and development projects, optical instruments, and spacecraft components. Duties include 3D computer aided design of systems, assembly drawing creation, detail drawing creation, and extensive interaction with NASA project teams.

Relevant Experience

  • Design and detail drawing experience utilizing CAD solid modeling software.
  • Experience interfacing with manufacturing is a plus.
  • Pro-Engineer experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly methods. Knowledge of composite fabrication is a plus.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, aeronautical, or mechanical engineering. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 2 or more years work related experience.
